Pakistan’s national airline PIA has announced flight operations and private Haj fares for Haj 2023.
According to a statement released by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday, the national airline will continue Hajj flight operations from May 21 to August 2.
PIA has set fares for private Hajj passengers from $870 to $1,180.
According to the spokesperson of PIA, ‘under private Hajj, these fares are for pilgrims going from southern region ie Karachi, Quetta, Sukkur, Hyderabad.’
The northern region includes Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan and other cities. Fares from 910 dollars to 1220 dollars have been set for pilgrims going from there.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will announce the fares of pilgrims going under the official Hajj scheme, which are expected to be between three lakh 10 thousand rupees and three lakh 30 thousand rupees.
According to the spokesman, PIA will transport more than 38,000 pilgrims to the Holy Hijaz, while more than 44,000 pilgrims will travel through Saudi Airlines and two private airlines operating from Pakistan.
PIA will use Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 for its Hajj flight operations in Jeddah and Madinah.
