Saudi Arabia’s national cricket team defeated Bahrain by 10 wickets in the ACC Men’s Challenger Cup final in Bangkok.
According to Arab News, the Saudi team prevailed in the 50 overs of the match. The entire Bahrain team was bowled out for just 26 runs in 21.1 overs. Saudi Arabia scored 30 runs for no loss in 4.1 overs.

Ishtiaq Ahmed, who gave the best performance in the tournament, was awarded the player of the tournament. Prince Saud bin Meshaal gave him the trophy.
Saudi Arabia won the toss and decided to bowl and invited Bahrain to bat. None of the players in the Bahrain team could stay on the crease for long and a strong partnership could not be established.
All 10 wickets fell in 21.1 overs and only 26 runs were scored. Bahraini batsman Abdul Majid Abbasi scored the highest seven runs.
Saudi Arabian bowler Atifur Rahman took four wickets, Ahmed three and Abdul Waheed two.
Saudi Arabia’s openers Waqar Al Hasan and Abdul Waheed completed the target of 26 runs in just four overs. Waqar Al Hasan scored 16 runs off 12 balls, while Abdul Waheed scored six runs off 13 balls.
Saudi Arabia played five matches in this tournament and won only five matches. Saudi Arabia scored the highest 424 runs of the tournament against Myanmar.
