The death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria exceeded 50,000

According to media reports, the terrible earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria on February 6 this month caused destruction everywhere and thousands of people lost their lives.

The death toll in the earthquake in Turkey and Syria has so far exceeded 50,000, in which more than 44,000 have died in Turkey alone, which has been confirmed by the Disaster Management Authority of Turkey.

Apart from this, the death toll from the earthquake in Syria is about 6,000.

According to media reports, the magnitude of the devastating earthquake on February 6 was 7.7, followed by another earthquake of magnitude 7.6, while about 9,000 aftershocks have been recorded after the earthquake.

After the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, more than 240,000 rescue workers, volunteers and the public did relief work in 11 earthquake-affected provinces of Turkey, while the death toll due to the rubble has increased dramatically.

According to media reports, 173,000 buildings were destroyed by the earthquake in Turkey and more than 530,000 people have been displaced from the affected areas.

Officials say a total of 1.9 million people are temporarily living in refugee camps as a result of the earthquake.
