The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the schedule for polling for the general elections of the Provincial Assembly and 6 seats of the National Assembly in Punjab on Sunday, April 30. President of the State Dr. Arif Alvi had proposed to hold the general elections of the Punjab Assembly on Sunday, April 30.
According to the schedule issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, candidates can submit their nomination papers from March 12 to March 14. The Election Commission will display the list of candidates on March 15.
It should be noted that on March 3, President Dr. Arif Alvi proposed to hold general elections of Punjab Assembly on Sunday, April 30.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, appeals against the decisions of the returning officers on scrutiny can be filed till March 27, the Appellate Tribunal will decide on the said appeals by April 3 and the revised list of candidates will be released on April 4.
According to the schedule issued by the Election Commission, the last date for withdrawal of the candidates from the elections has been fixed on April 5, while the election symbols will be allotted on April 6, after which the polling for the Punjab Assembly will be held on April 30.
