The scientist who created the Russian vaccine Sputnik 5 to protect against the corona virus was allegedly killed.
According to media reports, Andrey Botykov, a scientist who helped develop the Russian vaccine Sputnik 5 to prevent the corona virus, was found dead in his room on Thursday.
Media reports indicated that Andre had belt marks on his neck, so his death was possibly due to strangulation.
Andrey, 47, worked as a senior researcher at a research center in Russia and was instrumental in the development of the Sputnik Five vaccine.
According to media reports, a suspect was also detained a few hours after Andrey’s body was found. According to the investigation agency, the 29-year-old suspect killed Andrey by strangling him with a belt. Investigations are being conducted.
Media reports stated that Andrey was a member of the 18-scientist team that developed the Corona vaccine that successfully developed the vaccine in 2020.
He was also awarded by Russian President Putin in 2021 after the development of the Corona virus vaccine.
